Battersea MP has been rated the 13^th ‘leanest cat’ in Parliament by a think tank drawing up a league table of ‘fat cat MPs’ based on how much they receive in pay and allowances in relation to their constituents.

The Adam Smith Institute ranked all the MPs by adding up their total cost to the taxpayer in terms of salary, pension and allowances and comparing it with the average pay of their constituents.
